At Swiss Fondue by Heinz, we are a small, family-run restaurant offering a refined dining experience inspired by the rich traditions of Swiss cuisine. As the only fondue restaurant in Stowe, Vermont, we take pride in serving authentic, made-from-scratch Swiss fondue, complemented by a carefully curated selection of fine wines and craft beers — thoughtfully chosen to enhance your meal.
Chef Heinz, originally from Switzerland, brings over 50 years of culinary expertise and a deep passion for the art of fondue. His wife, Chef May, originally from Thailand, has been cooking alongside him for 13 years, having learned everything about preparing authentic Swiss fondue directly from Heinz. Today, May is an exceptional chef in her own right, bringing both skill and heart to every dish. Together, they ensure each meal reflects the true spirit and craftsmanship of Swiss tradition.
Together, Heinz and May operate a family-owned restaurant where every guest is treated with care and respect. Joining them is Heinz’s stepdaughter, Preeya, who warmly welcomes guests and works as a server, ensuring that every visit is as enjoyable and seamless as possible.
